Changes to the house
The house that we bought was in good shape, but there are several things that need to be done. One was a new water heater, but the people that we bought the house from, put in a new one for us, which was awfully kind of them.
But the eves needed to be replaced, as well as the double garage on the back of the property had no electrical running to it, except for an extension cord from the house. So this week, the eves got replaced, which is great, because now when it rains, the eves will actually work!:)
On Tuesday night, the work for the electrical began on the garage. We are also updating some of the wiring in the house, so that will be great too. After that, it will be for insulation and drywall in the garage, then some painting and then some more drywall etc ... You get the point. Colleen and I have three big projects that we would like to accomplish in the next three years - the upstairs bathroom, the kitchen and the deck. So we will see.
We do love the house though - it feels so much like home.

Sounds like you got a garage I can only dream of. I was driving Henry (1976 Ford 2Ton for those that may take this the wrong way) today. I can see why you liked him. Just started harvest with Don on Saturday. Good luck on the drywall and painting.

Sounds like things are getting very domestic...great! :D
Students have arrived and I'm already exhausted...sort of. I'll probably snap out of it the after the first real class I teach.
